Got what it takes to manage one of our Junior Teams - Ever Considered Giving It A Go

The club currently runs 14 teams. We are always looking for people who have an enthusiasm for football and who would be prepared to volunteer to manage one of our teams. The managers and coaches give up a tremendous amount of their time so the club can continue to provide this great facility to local children. Without them we would not exist. However managers do sometimes need to take a break and as was the case at the conclusion of this season we saw two managers step down.

As a result at the start of the 2009-10 seasons we needed to find 2 new managers and a manager for the new under 8 team.

Fortunately after a couple of calls and willing interest from a couple of parents we have new managers in place for all three teams so good luck to them.

However, managers sometimes leave through the season, some teams are run by only one person and we always encourage a second person to get involved and provide support to this manager. So it is important that we have some names of persons interested who can be contacted as soon as the need arises.

 If you are interested in managers role (note we do need to speak to all interested parties and make sure they are right for the club) please fill out a contact sheet on the contact page and let us know. As with all volunteers you will need to be CRB checked, must be willing to sit on the Level 1 FA Coaching Course as soon as possible and must be prepared to adhere to the club rules.

One thing we can guarantee you, is many hours of fun and reward watching your teams develop over the course of many seasons.
